On October 18th the second excursion of “Cammina Boschi” took place. The participants crossed numerous habitats that flanks Riva di San Biagio cliff, including the oak forests of habitat 91AA * (Eastern white oak woods). Walking inside it, the main characteristics of this habitat were illustrated, observing arboreal, shrub and herbaceous species. Furthermore, the monitoring techniques of Module 1 implemented in this area were explained. The hikers showed great interest, asking numerous questions about the future actions of Life4OakForests.
