On the morning of 05 October 2024 at the Ca’ Carné Refuge visitor centre in the Regionale Park Vena del Gesso Romagnola there were numerous presentations involving various speakers: Serena Petroncini presented the activities and results achieved by the project in 2024, Francesco Maria Sabatini from the University Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna (BiGeA) who spoke about Europe’s old-growth forests; Nicola Merloni, a botanist, who exposed on the monitoring of herbaceous and shrub species for Life4Oak Forests and entomologist Roberto Fabbri who instead spoke about the monitoring of invertebrates for Life4Oak Forests, results of 2023.

In the afternoon, after the Forum, the day continued with the Family Day, involving families and workshop activities for children.
Attendance at both events was high and the public showed great involvement, enthusiasm and interest in the activities!
