For the invitation of the Kolos Hanák College in Mátrafüred, Pál Bódis, expert of WWF Hungary’s Forest Programme, gave a lecture on “The world and our country’s forestry, nature-friendly forest management” in the framework of the LIFEis30 programme series in 19 May. In his lecture he discussed the global and national situation of forests, the importance of biodiversity, conservation opportunities and forest ecosystem services based on the knowledge collected within the Life4Oak Forests project. Along with nearly 30 students, the lecture was attended by several of the institution’s teaching staff.
